No Dig Alliance has acquired Rensman Norr and is now merging it with its existing subsidiary, Pollex. The combined operations will continue under the Pollex brand, further strengthening NDA’s presence in the Swedish No Dig industry.
This merger unites two experienced players in the pipeline maintenance field, both with strong local knowledge and technical expertise. With access to a larger fleet of specialized equipment and enhanced project capacity, Pollex will be better positioned to meet the growing demand for sustainable pipeline maintenance and trenchless pipeline renewal – even in the northernmost regions.
Mattias Höglund, CEO of Pollex, regards the merger as a strategic move to enhance capabilities and broaden its regional presence through collaborative growth:
– Rensman Norr, is the perfect addition to Pollex AB, both in terms of products and geography. With this, we are now established in Älvsbyn, which means we can offer Pollex’s complete portfolio to the northernmost parts of Sweden in an entirely different way.
This step is part of NDA’s broader effort to integrate its Nordic operations and build a unified platform for innovative, sustainable, and high-performance No-Dig solutions. By merging these Swedish entities, the alliance aims to enhance efficiency, increase resource sharing, and deliver more consistent service across the region.
– There are many advantages to joining forces with Pollex, they’re at the forefront of both technology and development, backed by a strong and trusted name, says Fredrik Viklund, former owner and CEO of Rensman Norr, now regional manager at Pollex.
He continues:
– As we hang up our old coats and step into our new ones, we gain access to Pollex’s expanded service offering. This provides us with a broader range of solutions to present to our customers – including the ability to offer trenchless methods.
Trenchless methods offer a smarter, more sustainable path forward by minimizing environmental impact, reducing public disruption, and protecting surrounding ecosystems. Compared to traditional techniques, trenchless methods can reduce carbon emissions by up to 90%. Depending on the project, they can also be up to five times faster. These methods cause minimal disturbance to the public and offer significantly lower costs through fewer working hours and reduced material use.
NDA and Pollex, who have long employed these methods, are convinced that trenchless techniques represent a crucial step toward future-proofing pipeline networks to meet today’s demands and tomorrow’s challenges.
